Hope Creek
Views of the cooling tower for the Hope Creek Nuclear Generating Station, part of the second-largest nuclear power complex in the United States. Visible on clear days across nearly the entire northern half of the Delmarva peninsula, the plume emanating from the tower is both centering and disorienting, remaining stubbornly fixed on the horizon regardless of distance or context.
